Animal Research Recordings
I am so excited to finally post the Voki recordings my students created. They turned out really well and I can't wait to use the voki.com website again for future activities and projects. Each student orally recorded the information they wrote in their animal non-fiction books. Voki.com is extremely easy to use and this was my first experience using it. The kids had a great time!

We read "Harry the Dirty Dog" and it inspired us to write fictional stories about a dog or a cat. |

Once we had completed our stories, we wrote out the steps that we followed to create the stories. |

Animal Research and Habitats
We have been working tirelessly on our animal research and habitats over the past month. We have finally completed our non-fiction books, habitats and voice recordings of our non-fiction books. I am very proud of all the hard work my students have put into each project. They are eager to share what they have learned with their friends and families.I used Amanda Tervoort's non-fiction writing project template from TPT to create the non-fiction books. I also used a website called Voki to create the voice recordings. They are quite funny and we enjoyed listening to each of the recordings.

We learned about how to take care of living things. It was exciting to watch the videos about all of the different jobs.
Here is a list of some of the jobs that we learned about:
1. gardener
2. zookeeper
3. vet
4. landscaper
5. doctor
6. dentist
7. teachers/parents
8. scientists
9. nurses
You have to learn about these jobs before you do them!
Be sure to take care of all living things!!
